Cool What's the best cam and crankshaft for s/c LT1

Hi,

I'm looking to rebuild my procharged '95 Z28. I'd like to get a new cam, heads, intake, pistons, crank, programming module and suspension to enhance my 1/8 and 1/4 mile times. I plan on mainly using the car for Friday-Sunday street and strip racing (maybe one 25 mile trip a week). Looking forward to your opinion. Thanks in advance!

Why crank and no other internals? The crank is far from the weakest point in the rotating assembly.

Are you looking for a stock turned crank? Forged?

What about pistons, rods? Do you plan on going .030 over on your rebuild?

How much do you have to spend....I think that's the most important question.

I'm assuming that you are wanting a forged setup....you can either keep the stock crank, go .030 over and have a 355 or if you plan on a forged crank, you might as well do a 383.

Might want to look at Bauer Racing or cmotorsports to see if they're going to do a stroker GP in the near future.

Need a little more info on how much you have to spend and what your ultimate goals are (HP).

I want to go with a 383 stroker kit if possible plus .030 overbore. I'm looking for forged internals. What I'd like to get is ideas on manufacturer and specs such as 4340, 6 or 5.85 rods etc. Additionally I'd like to keep it under $10K. Thanks again!
