What are you doing for Z28 FMIC airflow?

Now that I have everything just about done I was wondering what everbody is doing to get airflow to their FMIC? If you are cutting it out are you using a grille or some type of mesh? I live in the country on dirt roads, so I want to protect the IC as much as I can, but I know how important airflow is.

I used some wire mess and hit it with some black to cover the hole I cut out

I didn't want to hack away a huge gaping hole in my bumper, so I ended up just cutting out the area behind the fog lights, and adding an air dam from below the front bumper to help direct more air from the ground up to my FMIC. The end result was perfect for me. My front bumper looks attractive as it looks still stock, but with the added air dam and increased air flow behind the fog lights, my FMIC still gets enough air to keep my IAT's nice and cool.

Obviously if you hack up the front bumper like most do, then you will get optimum air flow, but my car is proof, that if you don't want to hack it up, there are other alternatives to making it work.
