What stock heads for blown 383 project?!

My builder is porting a set of 10125320 cast iron heads for my 383 stroker. I am going all forged, Scat crank, H-Beam rods, dished pistons with approx. 12 lbs. from a vortec. He tells me that these are better heads for a blower motor than my original 97 aluminum heads. What is your opinion? Is he right or is he trying to hose me? I plan to go with aftermarket heads later, but for now the funds are getting low. Give me your opinion!
Thanks

Where in NM are you getting your work done? I would have stuck with your original heads. They would be fine, especially on only 12psi, plus your not putting more weight on the front end. Those cast iron babies are heavy... With the right piston, you should be able to get them ported to get your CR down to 9.0:1. Will that head make it possible to get it down lower then that and is that his goal, or are both the chamber sizes the same to begin with?
