What size injectors do I need?

I have a vortech S-trim on a LT-1 that I will be running with a innercooler and 12lbs of boost.I will have 8.5.1 compression 355 or 383 not sure yet.Im thinking 42lb SVO injectors.I am not using a FMU.I am going to reprogram the computer. Are these the correct size injectors I need?
Any help?

Im running lucas 42 on a 383 ported heads cc305 9.0 comp around 9psi boost from a p1sc twin IC. Fuel pressure is 50 psi without vacuum and injectors maxes out 100% duty cycle an O2 sensor indicates lean combustion ( 830-870 mv). Im gonna order bigger..

What kind of power are you talking about making?. At the very least I would start out with a 42lb injector and work your way up from there. i think your goona need more injector though but it all depends on what kind of power you plan making.

Not really sure with kind of power.
Never had it dynoed before but I ran 12.2@114 on motor.I am going to keep the same cam but I may stroke it.I have kept the heads stock still.I would like to see trap speeds of 125 at least.I use to run a 75 shot and hit 121mph.
So what ya thinking 50lb?

50's sound good but to be safe it wouldnt hurt topick up some 60's just in case you decide to upgrade.

I would save yourself the trouble and just get some low Z 72#er's with acceleronics converter box and be done with it. I went with 50lber's on my 385 with 5psi boost and they were at 100% duty cycle at 5700 rpms. The 50#ers don't like higher fuel pressures and can lock up. The 72#ers have a good idle and are much more responsive than the high impedance injector. You might as well go bigger and have room for more HP in the future than try to run on the ragged edge and risk running out of fuel, just my .02

42's will be too small. At the least you will need ~50lb injectors. If the budget allows, the Acceleronics box and much larger low-z injectors would be an excellent idea.

Use 50 to 55# injectors.
