What pistons should I run?

I will have the 383 next week, first thing I need to do is sell the pistons that are with it and get me some "blower" pistons.

The motor is a 4 bolt splayed main that has already been clearenced and machined for the 383 rotating assembly. It has a Callies Dragonslayer crank, Lunati Pro Mod 6" rods and has some JE pistons that were more set up for a nitrous application. I will be selling these and getting a FI piston.

The heads are TFS 195cc heads that have been ported and polished already, but I am going to send them to LE and have him look them over and work his magic. The heads have 2.08/1.60 Valves in them already.

I was thinking around a -20cc piston would be a good choice (from what I've been told) but don't really know where to start looking. Anyone have any suggestions?

Oh, and BTW, the car will be getting an F1 and around 16-18PSI once the motor is in.

LT1?
For that much boost I would get -31cc dish for a sub 9:1 compression ratio, (for stock 54cc sized chambers anyway), forged 2618 alloy.

20 cc might sound like alot but remember you're running a stroker crank so it even out more than you might think (again for stock sized chambers).

You'll just have to google 'compression ratio calculator' and shoot for your desired CR.

Well they aren't the stock 54cc chambers. I'll have to do some calculating and see what I can come up with, I'm just looking for comments from people who have had experience with such a situation.

Don't forget that the crank balancing may be affected by going with lighter pistons.
