What IATs are you guys seeing?
I haven't done a full pass yet but I was playing around last night and notice that my IATs pick up about 5-7 degrees if I watch them in 4th gear to redline. Outside temp was around 65. That is at 8lbs and a front mount ATI intercooler. I think I have the smallest intercooler ATI makes How much increase should I expect? It seems to be doing a good job so far.
List the amount of boost you are running as well as intercooler size if you can.
Thanks.

I sure hope this is enough for my setup... for just 12psi...

hmm, i have a V1 S-trim on 8psi and see 145* intake temps on average cruising...after a hard hard maybe 3-4-5 run itll be in the 160 range...not intercooled btw. will be doing an alky kit soon.

Even though I have no idea, 145 at cruising seems high. When I was cruising yesterday, my temps were 79 degrees with an outside temp of around 72.

Is that an Air to Water Intercooler? Where did you get it? What are it's dimensions? Info like this would be very beneficial..
Thanks

The only 2 logs I have show temps rising from ~30deg's to 35degs going from a 30 mph roll to 110 or so. Temps in deg's C. Was only at 7 psi. The core is a 8" x 24" x 2.75" Front mounted air to air with lots of airflow!! The deg C to F converter shows 86 to 95 degs during the run. Not to bad!

He said it was a front mount intercooler, so I'd say it's an air to air unit.

I believe SleeperZ28's intercooler is water to air. Just happens to be in the front. I bought his air to air years ago (and since sold it) and he converted to air to water and probably still has it.

Re: What IATs are you guys seeing?
At 23psi going through the traps at the top of 4th gear, IAT's are at 188 degrees on an 80 degree day.
Two intercoolers, with core dimensions 15in wide 6in tall 4.2in thick (top/bottom flow).
I have no ducting to the intercoolers. I plan to try that first, and if IATs are still too high I'll convert to air/water.

Fair enough, but most people mean air to air when they say front mount.... I guess unless he was refering to where he mounted his heat exchanger, or the cooler itself...

I'm looking at an air/water core that's 21"x4.5" and 5.5" thick... and that should keep me moving through 12psi... If not, I'm spraying methanol as well, and I'll have a few gallons of water moving through the heat exchanger.
