What head bolts with 12-15#

I was thinking of getting ARP head bolts #134-3601 which are rated for 180,000 psi. I will be running 12-15# of boost.I don't want to use studs just in case I have to pull the heads off. I think that should be sufficient enough for my application. I just want to see what everyones comments and advice was. Thanks for any replies....John

Use APR studs and you can get the heads off the motor while the block is still in the car as I've done it myself.

You should be fine with those bolts and decent gaskets, though studs are better.

Thanks for the replies guys. So I can use studs then? I was under the impression you couldn't pull the heads off while the motor was in the car. I also heard they are prone to leaking more than bolts. Maybe people where not sealing them right. Thanks again....John

ARP's hex head studs allow you to remove the studs so you don't have to drop the k member to pull the heads off. Hopefully there won't be a need to remove the heads anyway.

I did not drop the K-member to pull the heads, it is a tight squeeze but they come off. I have talked to other people who have pulled the head without having to drop the K-member.

There was no problem removing studs prior to the inclusion of the recessed hex in end of stud. It just makes it minutes faster (for both heads) that's all.
