What happened to the BMR turbo car?

It was going along pretty smoothly for quiet some time and then the link dissapeared. You can still access the pages but obviously, nothing getting done with it.

Just wondering if anyone may have heard through the grapevine what happend.

I suppose it's another one of those unbelievable combinations that never happened.

I can't even find the links for it anymore. There were a couple things I wanted to check out on their buildup.

Hah! I knew it! They used have the fuel line routing come through where the stock lines ran using a pair of bulkhead fittings (for feed & return). This works fine w/ a factory hood, but on an aftermarket cowl hood (which has supports on the sides instead of through the middle), this will not work. I've found this out the hard way.

Looks like they ran their fuel lines up by the master cylinder...

Never thought about running them through there, plus, it appears that they've ditched the bulkhead idea. I'm too stubborn to let $50 worth of fittings go to waste though.

Not sure I like the 150* bend coming out of the Weldon either.

Ideas ideas...off to the shop.

Last I heard, the project was on hold due to developing parts for Mustangs and the new GTO

Thats cool, it would have been nice to see another LT1 hit the 8s and see how far it can go in the 8s. Should have more than enough power to do so. That car has SB2 block.
