I have a 8psi dual intercooled 1995 LT1 camaro with stock engine. I have heard you can get rid of the FMU by adding 42# injectors. Is that a good idea? and what should my fuel press. be? What other mods should I do with my supercharger?

If you go to SVO aka Ford Motorsports 42# injectors you will need to tune your set up. I recommend LT1 editor and/or Tunercat, the editor is what I use and it works great. I haven't heard anything bad about Tunercat.

FWIW, I run my 42# SVO injectors at 49psi, vacuum disconnected, and in the LT1 editor I rate the injectors as 47.5#. Thing runs like stock, but is a bit rich and ugly on a cold start.

You will also need a session on the wide band dyno to fine tune your set up.

What other mods ?? Sub Frames and Headers ... in that order.

Hope this helps

42's or 50's are fine.

If you are tuning it cant you pull some fuel out in the cold start tables? to clean up the cold start richness?

I'm using the LT1 editor and I don't know where that table is. I have found an air/fuel ratio VS temperature table that I have leaned out a bit in the cold temperatures, but I haven't found anything that will decrease the amount of fuel it gets while cranking.

If you know how to do this in LT1 editor ... I'm all ears

thx
