What do we think about Flatout head gaskets?

I've done my reading on copper. I hate our search engine - I haven't found much info on the flatout gaskets. Rubber coated copper. Rubber seals for the water/oil passages.

Either these or the felpro mls.

I know head gaskets usually pop for a reason - I could have been lifting the heads, or it could have been detonation. Plugs don't show any at all. I don't use a knock sensor though.

Should I switch to studs? Its just more money at this point. (ARP bolts right now)

I have Flatout rubber coated copper on mine and no problems so far. Seen 17psi max so far and no leaks, seeps or anything else.

I have ARP studs and my block is o-ringed though.

I would switch to studs for sure.

Well the o-rings are only the around the cylinders right? I could always take that step too, but don't think I am making enough power for it.

Your 17psi is a lot more than my 17 psi

I'm more worried about water leaking so they sound good to me. Thanks!
