What to do? Switch oil pump or pan?

I have been reading that an HV oil pump will suck a stock oil pan dry. Well I have a stock oil pan and was going to put a HV oil pump on. Should I get a canton oil pan, or ditch the hv oil pump and get the melling select oil pump, and gm hp white spring. and stick with the stock oil pan...? This is going on a built 355, with a front mount t76 (realquicks hot parts)

I ran the stock pan with the HV on my 383 blower engine never had a problem with it.

Well I decided to get the melling select 10554 and keep the stock oil pan. Now I just have to figure out where to drill/tap/weld for the turbo oil line. Unless I figure out a way to make a self contained oil supply for the turbo.... On a side note I'm putting the heads on....

I find it easiest to come in at an angle on the front corner of the pan. Behind the main cap.

2 bolt or 4 bolt splayed main caps?
I had to do some modification to my stock pan around the dipstick/windage tray to make it work with 4bolt caps w/ studs and stroker crank etc. I'm using the Melling Select 10554 and a white GM spring with my factory oil pan.
