Went to the dyno and got these results

The dyno was @ Reeves Performance on a SuperFlow Windyn V2.2

The starting point in 4th gear with 6speed.

RPM Horsepower / torque / A/F Ratio / Timing
@2312 134.8 306.1 13.5 31*
@3304 254.0 403.8 14.1 30*
@4339 370.0 447.9 14.1 28*
@5305 460.4 455.8 11.9 27*
@5891 478.9 426.9 11.8 27*
Max Hp 478.9@5891rpm Max Torque 468.9@4753rpm

They put the wideband 02 in the talepipe of the car i have a borla exhaust system so i had them put it in the driver side so i don't know how accurate the A/F ratio is but it was showing 14.0/14.1 from 2896-4475rpm which i find hard to believe.

I wish i knew how the show the whole printout and the graph so u guys can help me out tring to tune this setup to make more than what it is making right know.

This was on 93 octane i was looking @ least 550hp and the same or more torque with the setup i have.

I am not satisfied with the #'s it put down.

Here the mods
P-1sc #10 /383 steel rods,crank and forged pistons (Lunati)
Ported Trickflow heads with 3 angle valve job and Match Ported Stock Intake
Comp Cam 1.6 rr's and lifters
224/236 530/550 lift cam
Flp longtubes
57 Lucas injectors showing 83% max D/C
Racetronix Fuel System with Harness

If i forgot anything the rest is in the signature below!

Thank's
Reggie

Re: Went to the dyno and got these results

Nice numbers. I expected them to be a little higher (520rwhp range), but still good noetheless.

My old 355 set up (12 psi P600B) made 505 rwhp and 520 rwtq. I'd look into the tune. Are you getting any knock? Are you using cats? I would look into that air/fuel ratio as well. Can you post the dyno graph? I think that you are going to need more than 10 psi to get 550 rwhp as well.

Re: Went to the dyno and got these results

Also do u guy's have problems with your cars overheating. I have the groundeffects kit on my car and on the front it has the two holes on the sides. Where the two holes is where my twin intercoolers sits @. I am thinking that i need to drill holes in the front of the kit to allow air to get to the air deflector to get more air to the raidiator. I am using the 160* t-stat with water wetter and 30% antifreeze with the fans comming on at 180*.

Also i made a homemade airdeflector to try and stop the k&n filter from getting the hot air from the fans because of where the location of the filter is.
But have not tried that yet due to my idler pulley off my blower tensioner went south on me yesterday and had to order another one.

What year is it? Bryan probally set it up a little lax on the timing for your safety. If you'd like to get it dyno tuned in charlotte let me know.

Re: Went to the dyno and got these results

Bryan did set it low on timing and added fuel to be safe he said. But the A/F ratio looked a little high 14.0-14.1 2896rpm-4475rpm where it began to steadly drop off in the 13.0 range @ 4753rpm and into the 12-11 range as the rpms increased up to 6200rpm where it was @ 11.7!

N.C is a little far for me to travel about 11.5 to 12 hrs to get from the mid ga area. If you guys are willing to have me fly u down here and back + $250 for expenses then we can deal with that route.

I faxed bryan a copy of that dyno result about 3 days ago check it out for me, he should still have my bin file if he don't i will e-mail it to u.

Thank's
Reggie

I thinky uo have more int hat combo than hat you have. Its a good starting point but I would invest in getting it tuned on the dyno and how high are you spinning th blower?. Are you maxing it out?.

Re: Went to the dyno and got these results

Only spinning the blower @ 59000 which is well under the max of 62000. I am using the 15lb pulley that procharger sent me but only seeing 10lbs @ 6000rpm.

83% duty cycle for 57 pound injectors? Is that right at only 480rwhp?

Re: Went to the dyno and got these results

83% is what the datamaster was showing @ 5900 where the most power was being made. I don't know how to figure out injectors configerations as far as horsepower is concerned. The A/F ratio was @11.9 so the injectors was still holding as for as supply of fuel was needed. I have read that anything over 80% D/C was maxing the injector out.

Re: Went to the dyno and got these results

Just up the fuel pressure and retune the A/F and the duty cycle should go down.

Re: Went to the dyno and got these results

Thank's guys for all of your comments.

I will see if Bryan will send me a fix a tune or use my catts tuner to try to fix the lean A/F down on the lower RPM end.

Thank's
Reggie
