Weiand/B&M 142/144 blowers???
I ran the B&M 162 for lots of years and it ran 13 flat up here which is about 12 flat at sea level. Problem with the little blowers is that they just are too little. I had to have mine rebuilt about 4 times cause my pulley was so small to make more boost that the thing overrevved and would wipe out the teflon seals on the rotors. B&M was great and put new seals in several times for free. Car went 11.6 with NOS so if you want to go fast and run the little blower you ought to spray it some too.

Well, sounds like you've got a pretty good setup for sure. Fix those traction problems and squeeze that thing. I used to have a 78 Monza with a turbocharged 350 running 20 psi boost. Fun car, blew up a lot of transmissions and rearends though. Poor little 10 bolts and those 5 speeds that I think only came behind the 4 and 6 cyls. Oh, the good old days!

thanks
I had:
B&M 144, 5 psi boost
TFS twisted wedge heads
9/1 compression 355
ZZ3 cam (208/221 - 112)
Edelbrock headers, 3" Exhaust, Flowmaster
700R4, 2500 converter
3.73 gear
3500 lb '89 Firebird
It ran 12.20's at 114 mph. I tried raising the boost to 7 psi, but it didn't gain any power, indicating that the blower was oversped.
Later, in the same car, with a 8.4/1 compression 355, AFR 210 heads, GM 847 cam (234/242 - 112), Victor Jr. intake, Vigilante 3200 converter, and SLP 1 3/4" headers and NO BLOWER, I ran 11.96 at 114 mph. That just goes to show that a good head and cam set-up, even with low compression, can do better than a small blower.
Furthermore, I then switched to a 11/1 compression 383, same heads, cam, intake, etc., and ran 11.09 at 122.5 mph with NO BLOWER.

By the way, I measured the boost temperature of mine at 7 psi and it was over 200 degrees F during a 40 degree night. That puts its adiabatic efficiency at around a pathetic 38%. For comparison, a Vortech S-trim is around 70%.
