Water/Methanol quick question...

On a water/meth mix, if it sits for a period of time, will one or the other evaporate to a point where your mixture will change? Say like a 50/50 mix. Will your water or methanol evaporate off leaving more of one or the other? Just curious. Thanks.

Mine doesn't seem to evaporate, I've marked the washer tank with tape to track usage and it only has a pin sized hole for a vent for the stuff to evaporate from.

But, I was wondering if it goes stale in some other kind of way?

I can't tell you the mix ratio but the stuff definately evaporates.

My car has sat up for 13 months and my two quart resorvoir
has evaporated down from almost full to almost empty.

As cheap as methanol and distilled water is I would dump the
stuff if it sat over a couple of months.
