water meth question

I'm about to install my water injection kit and I wonder how well it's going to distribute to all 8 cylinders? I plan on tapping into the elbow But is there a better way. To insure that all 8 cyl. get quenched?

To my knowledge, theres no kit available that does what a direct port nitrous system does in the intake, although it would probably be more efficient in getting the same amount of water/meth injection to all 8 cylinders as you are talking about.

FWIW, I have mine tapped into my elbow, and it has worked flawlessly for years, and really is great at keeping my IAT's nice and cool and keeping me safely away from detonation without having to spend the crazy money on race gas.

All the kits out there spray before the throttle body. If this was a real problem I'm sure the TurboBuick guys would have worked around it. Check with the Buick message board (they have an alky inj. section) and/or ask Julio.

Make sure your kit is fairly high pressure and it has nozzles that aren't too big so that you atomize the water/meth as well as possible - that might help distribution by keeping the droplets as fine as possible. two small nozzles are usually better than one large one.
