Vortech with an STS...Am I Crazy?
Vortech with an STS...Am I Crazy?
Just wondering if anyone has done it? I was thinking about running my t-trim on like a 12 lb pulley and having an STS setup out back with another 6psi, that way id pick up alot more top end. dunno how a blower would like compressed air on the suck side though...
Re: Vortech with an STS...Am I Crazy?
Type-R Trans Am's won't like that much boost, so you'll probably need to add a lot more of your NOS Octane Booster to combat the detonation that will occur.

I thought about a twin charged setup bu bl;owing from a STS kit into the inlet side of my p600b......the I thought to myself.....thats not going to help me anymore then taking off the blower and going with a big turbo

Let's see, centrifugal SC + turbo = still laggy (not much centrifugal boost down low) + lots of parasitic drag from the SC.
Might as well convert to a front mount turbo to take advantage of all the plusses a turbo offers.
