Vortec S Trim blower inlet

Does anyone out there know who made the aftermarket Vortec blower inlet tube that replaced the JUNK Vortec supplied laundry dryer corrugated hose? This is the tube that runs from the air filter and MAF meter adapter tube to the blower suction.

I tried that number and received a "this number disconnected" message. Any other numbers for them?

I just used some 3.5" diesel water hose and black PVC from Home Depot to eliminate the dryer hose and picked up 1psi boost

Mine's a Vette, but here's another vote for the Home Depot plumbing section... that's where I bought my parts.

Because the Vortec Vette's intake is so restricted, I picked up 3/4 of a second from my Home Depot trip :-)

Re: Vortec S Trim blower inlet

Look around in your area for a good fabricator. I had a 2 piece pipe made from 3 1/2" aluminum tubing to feed the blower. It fits like a glove, doesn't suck water, it can be removed with ease (since it's 2 pieces instead of one), and it only cost me $130 instead of $300 like a brad brand would have.

I guess I will fabricate something for the customer as well. I need some practice on my new TIG machine anyway.
