Just incase you didn't know, to run without a thermostat with an LT1 car, you must plug the bypass hole beneath it.

MSM69Z28- Nice ride

i suggest you put a 160* stat in there and get you fans programed or timed to come on early, just my $.02
Hehe...I did have a 160* thermo in my car and my fans have been programmed already. Im fine running the car with no thermo, its not hurting anything and it surely isnt helping me at this point either. Thanks anyway though

One of the sweetest rides I've seen in a long time. That is the perfect idle! Blower belt whining w/ nice cam lope.

AWESOME car man! Keep the videos comin' .

question for you, i see you used a Vortech carb box instead of the ATI carb bonnet. what are the pros and cons of the "bonnet" VS the "box"

actually, this has been talked about quite a bit on another forum.

http://www.boards2go.com/boards/boar...ser=huntracers

either one has been proven to work very well. i liked the box for its looks more so than performance, but i can't complain so far.. the box has worked out very well. honestly, the nicer bonnet hats might make more power due to the direct flow (hasn't been proven though.., just my opinion), but the box probably makes for easier tuning and driveability. this is debatable. the box does make it more difficult to do the little changes to the carb, but pressurizing the whole carb makes for no mods to the carb to take boost (aside from solid floats).

hope that helps. do a search, this has been discussed in more detail.
