Turbos and head porting ?'s

Using stock LT1 heads with a turbo, where should I concentrate my efforts when porting and valve sizing? I considered porting both in/ex ports but stepping up to a new seat and a 1.6 on the exhaust and staying with a 1.94 or 2.00" on the intake. This way the exhaust gets a bigger seat to help dissipate heat and a larger valve to expel the spent gases. I'm not really worried about getting air in! lol

and you really dont need to worry about getting air out, if you arent worried about getting it in.

you are thinking backwards, if you go with a big exhaust valve there will not be very much seat left. I would stick with the traditional 2.00/1.56

Jordan, I was talkin about using a new seat for a 1.6 valve. Do they use the same size as the 1.5 and then just machine it to accept the larger valve? Also, I figured a ported intake "port" and a 1.94 valve would be enough with a turbo. I thought the hard part is getting it out!

No, blowers have issues with getting it out.. turbos work at semi equal pressures, so the motor functions closer to a NA motor.

If you are gonna spend the cash to go with a bigger seat, I would get some AFRs.
