Turbolocity Twin Turbo Kit

OK all you twin turbo devotees I finally have some numbers for the Turbolocity Twin Turbo kit developed and installed on my otherwise stock 2001 Z28. I had the car dyno tuned up in Michigan at Detroit Speedworks (thanks Phil, Jeff and Greg!) on their Mustang Dynamometer.

Max Power: 419.7 @5000 RPM
Max Torque: 470.7 @ 4250 RPM

All I can say about the car now is WOW! I will post the charts after I get a chance to get them scanned into the computer.

So you gained about 100hp. How much did that cost you?

I highly doubt he's running 14psi like the STS kit is.

Not sure why y'all are bagging on it. It's a good kit and you have no idea what psi. he's running.....more than likely it's at very low boost.

i think we were joking, i know i was.

his twin turbo kit is prolly for future upgrades and is expandable. may be full race kit i dunno. but if hes keeping it at those psi levels then he should have gotten a sts

fyi at 9 psi the sts kit made 450 rwhp on a lt1.

and test ls1 kits at 5 psi made 150 rwhp over stock.

so it all depends on his intentions.

FYI that's also with a 1.23 correction factor up here which isn't the most accurate for FI cars.

He hasn't dyno'd the LS1 test kit since that has only gone on one car here. Might want to know your facts before you go quoting numbers

rick told me in e mail that the ls1 kit made 150 over stock.

and the 9 psi on lt1 was done in chicago i think.

They haven't taken it to Phantom to get it dyno'd. The dyno that he has on the LS1 is a Gtech dyno.

The LS1 just raced a buddy of mine who runs mid 12's and lost. The LS1 was running 9psi at the time.

I'm still waiting on the video to post up for him.

We'll all just have to see how both the LT1 and LS1 kits perform come April when the track opens up.

WTF are you???? their advertising rep now?? quit trying to play up that system... if you like it, then good, as for most people, they're going to stick with the conventional style turbo setups.

qwkrnu -- I'm by no means making fun of your setup. I'm curious as to how much the setup is going for, that's all.
