Turbo Tech kit, what BOV??

Alright i am getting my turbo tech kit, but i am wondering what kind of flange i need to bolt on some sort of BOV, i have an old 1st gen DSM one but i dk what i need to hook it up, also i was wondering if anyone knows of any BOVs that go down to 5psi because most of the aftermarket ones i see only go down to 6psi

not sure what you mean by going down to a certain pressure? the BOV has nothing to do with boost pressure.

Bov

I know that the BOV has nothing to do with boost levels it simple lets out the boost so that it doesn't back up into the compressor, how ever BOV's are rated by the pressure that activates them, in other words if it is rated say 6-20 psi and i only run 5 psi in my system then the BOV won't open and release the pressure. When i was thinking about this i also came up with the question, would running no BOV hurt the system? i mean with only 5 psi can it still do damage?

yes, I would recommend a BOV period.

I BOV will blow off basically any boost pressure. as long as the pressure differential is greater than the spring(not tough when letting off the gas brings on 20+" of Hg!!)
