Why does your motor need a rebuild? Whether you go turbo or blower is just personel preference. There are advantages and disadvantages to both systems. Normally on a mildly mod'ded engine either is worth an extra ~100hp.

If you dont want to study and research to learn all the ins and outs of FI, I would recommend a supercharger or possibly a rear mount turbo kit (and even those can require quite a learning curve depending on how far you take the build). Most of the supercharger kits are pretty straightforward bolt on type kits and will make things a lot easier on you. What are you hoping to accomplish? Some more info would ve handy to help advise you better. My next build will be a turbo for sure, hopefully a turbo on a C5.

Need to know your goals, budget, and skill level.

Lots of money, no skill - supercharger.
No money, plenty of skill - turbo.
Beyond that the choice gets a little harder.

How is it that you don't know whether you want a turbo or supercharger, but you have the turbo picked out already?

BTW, your turbo choice isn't going to cut it. I have a GT32 on my jet ski.

You'll probably need something bigger than a gt30r. Most of the info I looked up on them rated them as being capable of just over 500HP, and they seem to be used primarily on 4 cylinder engines with less than 3.0 liters of displacement.
