yea, obviously the guy typing that had a ford on his mind

anyway, in all honesty.. the best way to reduce radiant heat is a heat shield with an air gap. using header wrap, along with another pipe around it(basically what that stuff is) works excellent.

I few a few key areas I am worried about heat, an di intend on using a wrap, then painting over it so it won't absorb oil and other engine bay nasties. we shall see how it works

I used Thermotec wrap on a twin turbo car last week and will be using a thermal coating from Swain Tech on my car.

I didn't even notice that. I wonder why it even says that, a heat shield doesn't care what brand car it's installed in?

Luckily i won't be needing much of this stuff on my car as everything is away from things that can burn.
