Saab doesn't seem to think it's necessary. I think it would be interesting to run direct port nitrous on the turbo side to help with spool. Give it a shot and let us know how it works

Re: Turbo chevy

My guess is that a car company like Saab would not put a car into production unless the technology was proven to be effective in some form or another.

And yes I would buy a Saab, the J35 Draken

There is no harm in innovation. The fear of new ideas, however, has caused a lot of harm throughout history.

Absolutely. It makes sense. Why waste time putting a 3 foot section of pipe in just to be able to double your compressor size, airflow and horsepower potential? Nobody here cares about performance.

Hey I never said it was better, and he only asked if it was possible

And some not everyone wants 600+ rwhp for their street cars, I don't really know why, but those people are out there.

Re: Turbo chevy

You forgot "My guess is" and "in some form or another." Try not to misquote, it makes you look biased

And I never said that it would perform better, just in case you were insinuating that I did.

I'm still trying to figure out where the "electric compressor" statement fits in? Are you trying to say i'm some sort of ricer that wants to "innovate" by supercharging his del sol with a shop vac?

Get off my nuts man, nothing I said defied physics. If someone presents an idea that's a little off the beaten path simply state your objections, back them up, and move on. There is no need to discourage someone from trying something different.
