Hey, I have a custom turbo set up for my Impala SS, and would like to know what a turbo guy thinks of the LT4 hotcam with a turbo, after I looked at some profiles for cams made for turbos, I dont think a hotcam is the right idea for me. The reason I asked, is I have had one lying around for a while and was considering putting it in, before I ended up with the turbo. Most turbo cams seem to be even on lift 218/218, 228/228, examples. Their LS's tend to be 113-114 too vs the hotcams 112. Any sugggestions or advice. The car has an LT4 topend on it right now.

 

you are correct. they are generally single pattern, or even reverse split.

ie, the cam in my car is a 217/213 on a 114ls. It is actually for sale, only a couple thousand miles on it(Custom BILLET cam motion). I wanna move my power band upwards(ie, bigger cam) but this would probably work good in your heavier car.
