Whts up? I was have a question about a true dual setup for a turbo application. I have a 2001 Z28 and im going with the GMRSpeed single turbo setup. Right now im running pacestter longtubes with their y-pipe and a SLP loudmouth dump right before the rear axle. I was looking into the TSP true dual setup but I didnt know if I could run true duals with a dump before the rear axle with a turbo setup? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

With a single turbo setup, theres really no point in pursuing a true duals...in NA or SC cars, there can be benefit from this setup, but on a single turbo setup, you only have one exhaust pipe (called the down pipe) leaving the exhaust side of the turbo. I have seen a lot of turbo cars with a dump before the axle, like the one in the link. i dont like the look of a single exhaust coming out though. Thats what I have know and I dont really like it, I would like to have either true duals or a ctaback system coming out the rear or something like that.

 

Well if that is the case, I would find an exhaust shop that works with 3/3.5 inch piping and have them fab you a y pipe at the rear of the car to give you a dual exhaust "look."
