Re: Timing

Most of the SC LT1's I have seen make peak hp with ~24-26 degrees. At part throttle, there is essentially no boost. Frankly, other than maybe some more advance at idle/very light load most SC combos don't need any changes except for boost (the 95+kPa area in the timing tables). If one were using a setup with a 2 or 3-bar MAP there might be some midrange power to be had by addingi timing at the low to mid boost range though.

Re: Timing

Ok with the wot tables how fast are you brining in the timing, do you do the timing tables like an N/A motor,

-Do you need to change the map sensor.

Re: Timing

I found that 24-26 works for me also. I had it down as low as 18 at WOT (16.5 psi) but it appears to like 26 much better. All the plugs look fine also.

My timing map looks like an aggressive N/A curve until the boost starts, then I went back more towards stock, and pull timing out with my MSD. I have 34 at WOT, and 6 psi likes that just fine.

Tuning has been done so far with a in dash a/f gauge, DFI logging, and a calibrated butt-o-meter! We'll see what the track and dyno say soon enough.
