My understanding is that the Vortechs require hood modifications to fit the SSs. Is this true of all superchargers or just some, like the Vortechs. Yes, I want to supercharge my 99 SS, but I do not want to modify the hood.

 

On the SSs, the Vortech kit requires you to cut/modify the hood. The ProCharger kit does not.
