Supercharger question -s-trim

installing my kit i bought off a guy online. i need a oil feed plug- now vortech wants almost $50bucks for this. couldn't i just find some kind of fitting that will work just the same? also i'm going to run 8psi and have 42lbs injectors so i will need a fuel pressure regulator -correct? also i'n not sure exactly but what size pulley do i need for 8 psi.

Thanks

You can use any fitting you want. On my last setup I picked up a steel Hex bushing (probably $2 from a hardware store) and welded that on the oil pan. It had 1/2 NPT threads on it and you can thread a multitude of things onto it: A brass hose barb, or pick up some AN fittings from Jegs. They actually have a nice weld on AN bung, which is what I got, for about $5. Pick up some fittings and hose and screw them together to make yourself a nice braided stainless steel hose. That would probably cost about $50!

You do not have to change the fuel press regulator for 42# injectors, just have to change the injector constant, and offsets in the PCM using Tunercat ot LT1 Edit.

No idea on pulley size... My boost doesn't use a pulley

DO NOT USE ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE VORTECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1st) its a long jet.. it will direct oil where it needs to be...
2nd) its a restrictor... you can kill your engine as i did with mine for lack of pressure because of the restrictor...

BUy the $59 peice... i have 2 right now for my 2 superchargers.
