Supercharger??

I have a pretty much stock LT1, I wanna put a good amount of HP onto what I have stock. Do you think its a good idea for the price of a SC? ... If i got a SC wouldn't I have to do all other mods so my car could handle the extra HP without blowing up?

Or should i just put in cam/heads/headers instead?

I would advise against a supercharger in a stock LT1.

Very high compression ratio = with a blower

look into heads and cam combos after you finish your bolt ons. bolt ons can pull you deep into the 12's

do you have the following

CAI
Headers
catback
gears
torque converter (auto)
rockers

NA is generally far more dependable and cheaper (in the long run) than FI.

You can use a supercharger on a stock LT1 as long as you don't run to much boost. 8# or less is usually safe but I wouldn't go any higher than that with the stock bottom end.

Hmmm.... what about a Turbo on an LT1... I've never heard of anyone doing that. Good idea/bad idea?
