Theres just no good reason to beef up a 'V6 muscle car' when a V8 car costs less than the mods that would have gone on the V6.

Buy a good V8 fbody and you'll quickly get over any sentimental attachment to the V6 one.

Yup- you could dump 5k into your V6 and have it at the power levels a good set of heads and cam can do on a V8...

There's a guy in Houston named Tiago that has put turbo's on V6 Camaros. With the right setup I can't see how it would be any slower that the many 10 second Buick Grand National V6 motors.

Take the advice given and get a V8. Much more potential. However, if you have the resources and want a sleeper, turbo the V6.

Agreed and I should have added that. If you don't like waiting a long time and spending heaps of money, just get a V8. A late model T/A or Z28 with a still healthy LSx would give you a tremendous foundation w/tons of aftermarket stuff.

Definitely do! Tiago's a great guy. About 6'4" kinda bouncer looking dude but with a heart of gold. You can find him on a lot of Saturday evenings at Otto's BBQ at the Fountains in Sugarland, TX. Red T/A with twin T76 turbos on his LSX equipped weapon. They have a mini car show there every Saturday night.

sell the car, buy a LS1.

Do a lid, full exhaust, tune, gear, stall if an a4. You ll have a mid 12 second car.
