STS turbo kits are they good?

Im looking at a STS turbo kit for my 97 LT1, ive heard mixed opinons about them, can u guys help me out, cause ill either do an STS kit or a prpcharger, so ne info would be great

depends on what you want... you wanna put down some monster track times you might want too look else where, but they do serve their purpose well, they will make for a badass street set up and have most of the usual benifets of a turbo set up without so much heat among other things, Id run one.. dont know if id run one over a good procharger set up though

im pro STS because iv seen some cars make big power on them and for the people that just call them junk... yea they are gay and have prolly never seen one before. i made just shy of 398RWHP on my STS on 5lbs. on 3.5lbs i made 360 @ 5300 rpm (if i remember right) and ran out of fuel. they have their flaws though. they are more of a dyno queen thing though i would go with the procharger or fount mount turbo. on 5lbs i was trapping 115mph and a buddy of mine with a frount mount T70 stock bottom end LT1 was beating me on 5lbs.
