Isn't the PTK kit in the same ballpark pricewise?

i think ptk tends to be on mustangs more than f bodys. that doesnt mean there not any good i just like a company that does more with my car knowledge wise. the ptk kit is about 1200 bucks more than the sts kit.

the PTK kit is aimed more at the racer, and has way more potential than the STS kit. The STS kit is more for people who aren't so serious about fi. You can't really compare them.

I have had the kit on since this summer and has been working great. Surprising alot of cars. I have been playing with the boost and methanol system, and i can def tell a difference over 5psi This kit has had the all potential i need, and maintanance is the same as it was stock. To have this kit i would consider myself serious about FI.
94droptopz what power are you looking for pm me i have alot of recorded info.

Exactly. The STS kit is more of a simple bolt-on and go deal for the average racer. The PTK kit has more options and is much more upgradeable, meant for serious racing.

with a capability of over 15 psi, i believe that the sts kit has almost all the capabililty any street car needs. im planning on building 383 ls1 capable of 10 psi, and i would constantly run with either 5 or 7, depending on octane needs. i would definitely like to see 8 psi on pump gas, but i doubt it. ill just use the lt1 kit for the setup, and have a pro set up the turbo after instalation. not lookin for much, just a mild 450-500 rwhp...and 24 average mpg. i dont think its possible, but hey...at least you can ask for it right
:-P

edit: woops, i forgot to ask anyone who is running this kit, is it loud?? i would think it is since there is no muffler. and have you thought about puttin on a bullit muffler from somewhere like dynomax....thanks

Just to be sure, you have made adjustments to get your A/F ratio below 12 above 5500 RPMs right?

Do you have an all stock fuel system?

Insomniac,
No i haven't done any adjustments on air fuel yet, i am getting into the tunning now on 7psi, the dyno was with only the sig mods. The tunning that can be done with the system is in the water/methanol system, i am also getting into tunnercat or LT1 edit. The fuel system is all stock except an inline NOS pump that really isn't doing much because of the stock set fuel pressure.
