STS truck nets 669rwhp/744rwtq @ 9.5psi!!!

Allen Nelson or FarmTruc just got the FMIC installed and the thing tuned to 9.5psi and turned out some awesome numbers for a butt turbo.

Hey Guys, when I said 10psi felt awesome, I wasn't exaggerating!

For those who don't know, I have a '94 chevy reg cab, stock 6.0L (head studd and rod bolts), 3200 stall, built 4l60e, and 3.07 gears and an STS kit with the GT 67 .81ar.

On 5psi, this thing put out 410hp and torque was about 412, something like that.
Those numbers netted a 11.9 @ 110mph.

I finally got the intercooler in and my boost under control at a solid 9.5 psi (10psi peak). I was hoping for about 500hp
It made some nice numbers:

669HP@4763rpm / 744lb-ft/4654rpm
Dyno Pic

I wanted to get some numbers on the stock engine before I put the cam in, I don't think I need it lol!
You can obviously see I need a larger housing or better yet turbo.

My goal is a solid 10sec street truck on a budget. We'll see if it gets there this Friday, if nothing breaks.

later.
Pretty sweet. It really give those of use doing built motors something to look forward to.

"butt turbo".
You kill me Justin.

I knew the numbers for Allen would get some ,
but even if you take 10% off for any skewed numbers, it is still
602/669. Either way, it is great. I dont see 10's being an issue unless something breaks. I told him he needs to have a 9.99 goal.

I agree Billy,

I just want to know how this dyno works compared toa Mustang dyno is all. Even if he put out 550rwhp I think he would be in good shape considering it's a stock motor.

As for doubts. Why doubt him when no one was doubting jose's claims on the PTK LT1 car trapping 130mph on low boost. LOL

I think I am the only one who mentions the PTK claims and that there havent been time slips produced. I know jose is a vendor, but who is to say the customers are giving him correct info. I am waitng for Geoff to try his PTK kit so we finally have a member here that is willing to put up numbers. Check out previous sts threads where people like 5.0this hype up PTK and I seem to mention that no slips have been produced by a member.

Like I posted on the other site, 52 hp per lb of boost ...lol..I hope you guys aren't that gulliable. Outlaw cars barely can do that approaching 1:1 ratios...

As for customers, well just cause they don't post doesn't mean its not real...lol. Their is a great big world out there other then these few message boards. . You can believe the results or not, none are outlandish.

BTW, we have lots of data and dyno charts as well as timeslips we don't post at the request of the customers. Some people don't care to share their results publicly and its not just the f-body crowd. We also have front mount system vs rear mount system results on the dyno. I doubt the STS crowd would want to see them, but thats not what this is about. You can play a pissing contest all day long. The best thing is be happy with your system, if you get beat upgrade. Also don't make claims the system can't back. Main reason why I don't post much anymore. Heck I even post less on the other boards. Geoff can post his results if he wants, I'm all for it.

Come on, you should feel happy that your name stuck out in my head

Jose, like I said, its nice to see members on this site post some slips. There are people on here that hype the PTK stuff, slip or dyno numbers would be nice too. Hopefully Geoff will be gracious enough to post when he is done.

If Jose claimed something like gaining over 250rwhp with 5#s of boost he would get the also

Whats so doubtful of a PTK LT1 trapping 130mph? My car did it with a little p600b procharger.

I agree..we have been asking for track results for the sts kit also. I've seen it in person at the track..the results weren't posted for a reason.
