Starting Build,Questions so i get it right the 1st time
so story goes i had a running 94 Z28, OFI turbo kit, racetronixs kit and injectors, CSR E.W.P, got car running, computer was fryed. no one could figure this out..take it to one shop. they do some funky stuff and warp the heads and let me drive it home. on the way the motor stops. woot!
soo im going to use this to my advantage and get this thing done right
so im wondering a few things
the turbo in my kit is a GT76mm precision turbo, how many cubes can i go befor im to big for this turbo?
im wanting to thrash the 600rwhp mark by a good mount and still keep it pretty street friendly and use able.
im looking at an eagle rotating assemblyand they come in a tun of over all comprestion ratio's. is there a "too low" comprestion ratio when running boost?. i dont want the motor to be a pig when im not into boost, but i dont want the static comprestion ratio to limit the amount of boost i can run to a certain degree
now with comprestion, i am going to be useing a set of AFR heads, is bigger always better? im thikning the 195CC lt4 comp. heads should be good to fit this, or are they over kill/under kill?
head gaskets. being they where the death of muh stock motor
, id like to know the new ones arnt going to have any issues for a long time. i have only just started looking at diffrent head gaskets, but every shop i had talked to is swearing by some kinda of bi-metal set. what your guys input?
is my racetronixs fuel system going to be enought? i know ill need larger injectors, but will the hot wire kit, pump and maybe a B.A.P hack my kidna power goals? if not, what els do i need/ should upgrade to
i have looked around in the F.I section on here and coudlent find any thing, also looked threw the boosted roll call list and there is not very many listed HP numbers on the kidna stuff im looking for. any and all input would be awasome and really appreciate.

A 383 would bea s big as I would go with that turbo, you should be good to 750ish HP

I would advise around 8.8:1-9.0:1 for a street car, of course you can go a tad lower (8.5:1 will work fine), or a tad higher, but i would keep it around the 8.8:1-9.0:1 area
now with comprestion, i am going to be useing a set of AFR heads, is bigger always better? im thikning the 195CC lt4 comp. heads should be good to fit this, or are they over kill/under kill?
Those heads will be fine, in a FI setup, heads are not as important as a NA setup, but bigger heads will not hurt either

If anything, look at adding another fuel pump, otherwise you should be godo
