not sure how to put pics on here yet, but heres what i have so far: i bought a new masterpower turbo (t70 .96 a/r), real turbo rfl, have a bunch of bends all shapes and sizes, and one edelbrock shorty header to cut up for the flanges
heres my turbo http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...rent=mpt70.jpg
a shot of the bov waiting to get out http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...urrent=rfl.jpg
heres the header after i got it put together, i need to get all of the welds cleaned up and get the coating off of it http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...gethershot.jpg
another picture of the header while i was fabbing it up, i need another flange for the driver side if anybody has one or a REALLY CHEAP set of headers http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ictogether.jpg
I hate edelbrock headers, but... they're really good to cut up http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...lbrocklogo.jpg
heres a shot of the passenger side header on the motor that i will build for boost it looks like it covering the sparkplug but theres actually room under there. the engine is a 94 corvette lt1, ported 374's on it but i have a set of trickflows if anybodys looking for some REALLY NICE ported heads http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...t=sideview.jpg
a pic of the underside of the header, i think ill use some header style spark plugs and dimple the area right above the front plug if i have to, but i think that i have plenty of room theres even room to get the temp sensor out http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...rkplugview.jpg
a top view of the passenger side header. still need a flange for the driver side http://s338.photobucket.com/albums/n...torfromtop.jpg
ya know, IMO, i woulda just kept the headers whole, looped them around, and brought the pipe out one side.
Or flipped them and reworked them. But, to each their own.
Also, i have a T70 turbo, enjoy the fast spool
