Realquick, I'm thinking about trying to fab up a 3.5" downpipe for mine, which is layed out just like yours. I know the steering u-joint will be a problem, but I can replace it with a smaller flaming river unit. What bothers me is will I be able to fit it around the crossover pipe. What are your thoughts?

Hey Mike, if your crossover hugs the block on the way up toward the main log, then it shouldnt be a problem. If its tight, you can always oval it right where the crossover and DP pass eachother. Tough to say unless you take a pics from underneath while installed on the car. I suspect a tubular K member would free up some room and allow you to drop the DP downunder the car as soon as it sneaks by the main crossing tube on the K-member.

Looks good! I was going to build one like that for a friend using the stock pass manifold.. lol

well i figure it would be real easy to have a 3.5" downpipe run in that area if you
have a tubular k-member and oval the tubing... easy....

Both you guys have looked at mine... but here it is anyways...

The kits I posted should support anywhere from 600-700rwhp depending on turbo/engine/tranny combo.

RealQuick,
I already bought your hot parts, but how much do you want for that engine stand you have in those pics?

Haha! The wood blocks that support the engine or the paint cans that hold up the sway bar!
