Should I trade my LE2(57cc) for stock trickflow 62cc heads?
Do you guys think it will be worth trading my LT1 LE2s for a set of bone stock trick flows? My heads are 56/57ccs as they sit now and the trickflows are 62ccs. im not sure how low my compression is right now with the stock deck height and -24cc pistons but I know this will lower it. Im only looking to make 600-650rwhp from my T76. I know the trickflows have much more potential once ported but I wont be porting them this time around. Is it a waste of time?

If your not gonna port the trickflows, then your LE2 heads will probably flow about the same. For compression, you will probably loose .4-.5ish of a point by switching to the 62cc chamber.
I would say on the LE2 heads, with -24cc pistons, and stock deck height, your compression should be AROUND 9.2ish:1. This should be ok with a forged bottom end and the kinda power you wanna make. I would probably stick with the LE2's, unless you really want the compression even lower to go for even more boost in the future

well..I do plan on eventually porting these heads if I get them. They start out with 2.02/1.60s my car has 2.00/160 i think. I want the compression down as low as possible to keep mysetup safer.

If you're planning on better flowing heads in the future and it's a straight up trade (fully assembled for fully assembled with good parts), go with the trickflows. Your expense later will be much less. Plus, the bigger chambers allow room for more boost.
I was very impressed with the ported set I picked up.

Ya I would say 7.200 should be ok. But you need to check your valvetrain geometry no matter what casue you never know...
