Should I procharge or Head/Cam

Im running a stock lt1 except for a set of forged pistons/rods with moly rings , stock comp. ratio etc... bolt ons galor and I'm taking the n2o off to go for something that I'd have all the time. Need to know if I should go the procharged/intercooled route or the N/a route. Basically need to hear from some people that have experiences with the procharger kits.

Unless you're trying for 500+ rwhp, go heads/cam. Simpler, cheaper, easier to work on, and more reliable.

Re: Should I procharge or Head/Cam

I'm going to respectfully disagree.

Not so much about the simpler/cheaper/etc. part, but about the overall choice.

Jd, I don't know what your budget is or really anything about your specific situation, so I can't evaluate your situation all that well and my opinion (Which is worth exactly what you're paying for it.), is this:

Put in the biggest exhaust valve you can fit, hog out the exhaust ports as best you can with a dremel and slap that procharger on.

That ain't particularly scientific... more in the nature of quick & dirty actually, but I think you'll like the results.
