Should the 45* elbow sit on the brake distribution block?

Should the 45* elbow sit on the brake distribution block?
I just got my car back from the shop that did the install of my 383 with a D1SC and I noticed that the 45 going to the intake (shown in pic) is sitting up against the "brake distribution block" I guess that is the name. This looks like it will rub a hole in the silcone coupling? Is this OK?[IMG]

You probably need to clearence the "ABS block" (is what most people call it).
Pretty common on procharged LT1 installs. OR just do away with it and put in a ABS delete and Line lock setup, thats what I did.

You can "clearance" it with a grinder, recipricating saw, etc.
Another alternative is to relocate the block or shift it some to gain some clearance between the coupler and the block. Also, you may be able to insulate the two by slipping a piece of tin or similar material between the block and the coupling, curving the piece of tin to match the radius of the coupling. Utilize one or both of the existing hose clamps to hold the tin in place. You probably wouldn't even see it if you took the time to trim it.
