Scavaging Pump for a Turbo

Hey guys, sounds like we've got some experts with experience here so I decided to join up from one of those other forums. I've got a very low mounted turbo and I need a scavaging setup. I've already got the tilton pump and the lines I'm just want to know how you guys hooked it up. Do you hook the pump directly to the bottom of the turbo? If so does this ever pull out too much oil? If not, what do you do?

Thanks,

MN_Vette

Do you have pictures of your set up?

I do have a few pics, nothing really good though. I'm not sure why that's relavent. Lets just say that the oil return is pretty much at the bottom of the oil pan.

I'm just wondering how you guy hook up your scavaging pumps. I looked at STS and they have it hooked directly to the bottom of the turbo but they told me that they have some kind of variable speed pump. Would a pump that is constantly on at one speed be ok to set up like this?

i've got my pump hooked directly to the bottom of the turbo. I never thought about it pulling TOO much oil from the turbo. Lets hope that isn't a factor.

Copy and paste the URL. That is for a twin turbo setup.
