Hello everybody. I have been out of the F body scene for a while. Long, long story that is unimportant. Anyway, Now being the proud owner of a Lightning that is my daily driver, I was wondering if there is any roots style blower that will work on an LT1 Fbody?

Hood clearance issues are not a big deal... a small hump could be added. Just wondering if anyone was familiar with one?

your right, hood clearance is not a issue.

But the cowl clearance under the windshield is. The way the LT/LS motors are so far back, to get a roots blower, and have room for the intake setups, you would almost need to mount the blower backward, and still have some cutting, or lowering of the motor (most likely both)

Look on this board in advanced teh or forced induction for Rooster93 he just did a custom Eaton 112 by cutting a stock LT1 intake in half and making a mounting plate for the blower and he's got it running now.
