heh, see you took my suggestion on the pistons eh? ive yet to get mine in the car and running thanx to my trainee tech at works project instead. when i ordered mine i told them i wanted something like the je hellfire rings, and they suggested mahle firepower rings. they were cheaper and he said they're of the same materials. afterall, theyre mahle, and they dont make crap, so i went with his recommendation. now remember you'll need the 3/64 3/64 5/64 i think it is for those pistons, not the metric ring pack the stock pistons took. good luck with yer build. dont forget you want looser bearing clearances than stock and a slightly wider ring gap. check the spec sheets that come with the pistons. my rings were file fit.

NO! A power adder increases cylinder pressure and heat. You run larger gaps to accomdate the increased expansion.

I built my first engine - but I think from now on I will work with a good engine builder. You may consider the same.
