Re: radiator and fan?

I run a Be_cool alum rad (from Summit).
Moved it forward by cutting stock top/ bottom rad supports, and fabbed new.
2 flex_lite 12" fans @ high speed all the time. (pullers)
Use Evans NPG coolant media with no t_stat (a mod I did myself).
Also a hig vol Mez elec (54gpm) water pump.
Runs quite cold. It required a PCM flash.
App.. 97sss 383 D1 Ati MM6 with ~ 14psi.
B.

Re: radiator and fan?

Search for vertical radiator on LS1tech. There's a bunch of posts with lots of pics as well as radiator/fan combinations.

With my front mount, the stock radiator and thin fans (eBay cheapies) didn't cut it. Upgraded to a BeCool custom fit and kept the cheapie thin fans in the stock shroud.....66* and rain = 225* @ 2000 rpm on the highway. Upgrading to a couple of Derale 16925 pushers on the condenser right now.
