Quick MAF/supercharger question please...

So why do some people put their MAF post-supercharger on LT1 setups? Just curious cause i've read of some doing that here. Mine is pre but would consider moving it if its to some benefit. Thanks.

Superchargers are much better at blowing/compressing air than sucking it in... The less restriction on the intake side, the better. I've also heard some people claim better driveability after relocating the MAF to the pressure side.

The closer the Maf to the tb, the better. The reading the pcm gets compared to actual air injested is more accurate.

I had heard of some people having idle problems(or at least not smooth) with the maf pre blower. I put mine on post from the start so I don't have any thing to compare it to.

will relocating it require reprogramming of the pcm from ones present tune?

I wouldn't think so.
