Put a blower on a '95 Z28?

Automatic, 147K miles, 3.23 gears...What kind of performance gains would a blower give me? Hp, torque, times, etc.

All stock, btw.

Dont do it unless u want to rebuild soon, quotes on power can be pretty much found on the manuf. websites I would think.

You could get probably 300, but not with a major over haul.

The run of the mill blower would give me about 350 horses? So, like 75 over stock?

basically u can run 6lbs probably pretty safe, but it varies. I went ahead with blower pistons and cam before I put on the blower, I really need a better blower since it could probably handle it now, oh well...being a college student sucks sometime

You are going to end up playing so much for a supercharger and only run it at 6psi. It's NOT WORTH IT! Get a nice head/cam combo and save a bunch of money, and you've added reliable power. Superchargers are pointless on stock engines. You can get just as much power from them with a nice head/cam/exhaust combo with a good tune while saving money. Theres my $.02

when building a blower motor, Id build from the bottom up...

get a seperate block, get a strong bottom end then strap the heads/cam on....that way when you spend the hella cash on the blower...you know it will hold it

dont disgrace a blower by cutting down the boost

I know it is expensive....but thats the price of reliability
