Thumbs up ProTurbo kit installed on LT1

Greg just sent me the pics of my car. It is near completion, just some wiring and little things like that. Thursday or Friday goes to get dyno tuned and programmed. Can't wait for the final results. This is pretty much the way the kit will come. Here are some pics enjoy.

What are you shooting for HP wise? What turbo? How much boost are you looking to run? What mods do you already have?

Outcast, e-mail me, we need to stay in touch. I'm starting to install mine tonight and I may run into some snags, which maybe you may be able to help, since yours is already together. My kit is a little different, but the overall design should be the same.

I am not sure I will get with Greg and see what he thinks. I am running a PT-66 for now. Starting off with 5 is what Greg was thinking. The engine is total stock, because that what ProTurbo wanted to work with for the new kit.

Looks good. Any updates?

Just curious about the intercooler system as well. Is there a radiator to cool the fluid that runs through the intercooler or does the intercooler only come into play on the track when you can put fresh cold water in it?

The intercooler has its own large B&M cooler to cool the water for daily use.

the kit is working great made 454hp and 567tq 11psi. But I turned it back dow to 5psi on 93. The motor is stock completely. Thanks to ProTurbo, Powerhouse Performance, and Mike Murello.

Were you sweating when the boost was turned up to 11 PSI on a stock bottom end? Congrats...

sweet, glad it's working out. Does the turbo heat up the radiator at all?

wow!!!!!!!..........thats very impressive on the stock motor.......although im guessing 11psi is pretty dangerous for those insternals.

are you using PTK's FMU that comes with the kit? how is your A/F ratio? are those runs after tuning with LT1edit?

do you have a dyno graph of any runs? id really like to see what it looks like at 5-7psi.........thats probably what people will be running on the street.

with heads/cam/forged pistons, this kit looks like it would be a killer.
