procharger systems(LT1)

I saw a chart on the net the other day comparing hp potential and other specs of the Procharger models. D1, D1SC, F1, P1SC, etcc.. Does anyone know how to find it or where it is. I can't find it now. I'm trying to decide which one to use w/ my 383 LT1. Thanks.

go with either a D1 or F1 if you want to make GOBS of power.

From my experience, the higher step-up ratios will bring on the power faster and more aggressive. (97ss 383-D1)

Each procharger ATI unit is powered by a motor crank pulley set. Also, the procharger "head" unit has a set of gears to drive the impeller. A second step-up (rpm increaser gear box) of the rpm. Example... 6500 motor rpm* 7.6/3.4 (pulley dia ratio) * 4.44 (head rpm step-up ratio) = approx 65000 impeller rpm. If you follow the previous post, each ATI unit spec has a "head" gear rpm set-up ratio. I prefer a higher number. Hope this helps.

The F1 is far to large for a daily driver car, it sucks to work around. I removed ABS after 3 years of working around a d1..

I was thinkin' D1SC. I don't know what pulleys I'm gonna get, but I'm gonna stay w/ the bypass valve that comes with the kit from EPP(good to10-12psi or something). What power would 10-12 psi make on a 383LT1, roundabouts?

The F1 is only slightly bigger than a D1SC and is about the same size as a D1. I don't have any problems using it for a daily driver and it is no harder to work around than my old P1SC. It requires grinding about 1/4 inch off the corner of the block to make room for the bigger transmission. I would recommend the F1 because it gives you room to grow down the road and allows you to run bigger blower pulleys and less belt slip and wear.
