Talking Procharger oil change in FOUR HOURS!

Below is a link to a page that details how to change your Procharger self-contained unit's oil in 4 hours. Why did it take that long? Go see for yourself. It is detailed in two pages of photos and descriptions. Let me know what you think.

Enjoy!

I can't get to my drain plug without pulling the head unit. So, I got a long clear plastic tube small enough to fit the fill hole and connected it to my mityvac and I suction all the oil out of it...takes about 10 minutes to change the oil.

Yeah, but how fun is that? This isn't meant to be a serious solution to a problem. This is Slo-ride's take on life. Why do it quickly and efficiently when you can slam a few too many beers, drag it out all night, and laugh like a little kid at the end result?

Sloride - you and I have VERY similar set ups except I have a vert and my interior is grey, although I do not have the nitrous........................yet.

I just installed a FAST and have to upgrade to the 72# injectors as well.

I went with a Racetronic DUAL intank system and I would be interested to know if your fuel system is up to the job. I too got 13.5 #'s of boost but that was also at 18:1 AF

I would be interested to know where your air filter is placed?

Lets stay in touch. What dyno numbers have you seen? My best was 527 but that was with the wrong stye injectors AND running out of fuel.

You know they make a very cheap pump for draining things like that out the fill hole, don't you? I use it when changing the tranny fluid. Just stick the tube down the fill spout and drain, then its very easy and mess free to change the filter. That saves all kinds of time to drink more beer but it requires very little self praise and mess clean up so its probably not for you. (just kidding except about the drain pump).

I read once that Einstien needed a paper clip but couldn't find one so he made it himself. He didn't realize until later that he actually used a paper clip in its construction.

Hahahahahaha slo ride
Thats is great.
I love it man
keep up the good work bro.
I usually just let the sucker drain out all over the place and then clean up the mess.
You should market that sucker man.
**** a couple more work lights and fans and you got a full on production facility.

Darkblue - The ease with which something gets done is irrelevent when taking into consideration the "fun factor." I actually enjoy doing things that aren't necessary just to see if I can 1) make it work, and 2) make myself laugh hysterically in the process. My wife is going to kill me when I tear into the lawn mower............

97TA-WS6-Con - My fuel system is made up of a single Racetronix 340 series intank pump, Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump, custom fuel rails, 72 lb injectors, and is managed by the F.A.S.T. system. Will it support the HP? I dunno, I'm not finished:

http://groups.msn.com/Slorides1997Po...oto&PhotoID=52

My air filter is located in front of the driver's side front tire and is protected by a "Slo-ride custom piece" made out of my Wife's cat's self watering jug thingy. She hasn't noticed yet believe it or not. HP numbers for the TA are not known with the current setup. The last time on the dyno just showed us how little fuel was actually making it to the fuel rail. I'll post once it's complete.

16blckz28 - You yip like a Chihuahua in heat. We'll line 'em up once I'm running again. Bring your wallet.

Hal - Like Einstein, I also tend to dress incompletely and rarely comb my hair...............hmmmm

Coletrickle350 - I'm glad you found the humor in all of this. I laughed my *** off when I read your idea about the production facility. Don't give me ideas like that, man.

Uh oh....I know you do it to occupy your time and to make the rest of us laugh. But Slo-Ride...for the love of GOD, don't touch the lawn mower. Not only will your wife kill you, I don't want to see you get hurt man...and no, you, no matter how hard you try, can not stop that blade when the engine is running.

down to me like your car does to mine, the ellis juan (LS1) is strong with this one (J/K!!)

I don't want to come down before your car is running again... ETA?
