Will a P1-sc fit under a 2nd. gen hood?

 

Sure it will, being that is a centrifical supercharger it will most likely fit under your hood. What motor motor are you running in that 2nd gen?

 

Gen V 454HO crate motor (425 hp). TH400 and F*rd 9" with 3.42 gears. 8.75:1 compression. Blower is set up for 10 psi. Procharger assured me it should be close to the 625 hp I am shooting for. If only the hood fits...

I know I will have room for the carb bonnet but I'm not sure about the housing itself. If you are familiar with second gen hoods, the housing falls right where the hood dips down just inside the headlight.

 

Are you using the big block or small block motor mounts?
Using the small block mounts on a big block raise the engine a little where the correct big block mounts lower the engine to keep it at the correct height.

A P1-SC mounted to a BBC will not fit under the hood of a second gen. I have an 1 3/4 cowl and clearance is good over the carb but the blower housing hits the hood with the hood about 2 to 3 inches from closing. Keep this in mind if you are thinking about this mod.
